Our Values:
TAMSS and the project SEIRAS considers the presence of refugees as an added value to Tunisian culture and its economic and social fabric.
The SEIRAS project started in January 2019 under the aegis of TAMSS, in partnership with UNHCR.
SEIRAS aims to ensure the economic and social integration of refugees and asylum seekers in Tunisia by strengthening their personal and professional capacities, their placement in formal jobs and / or their support in the creation of micro-projects. TAMSS SEIRAS is a comprehensive program, designed to give refugees and asylum seekers the opportunity, each according to their skills and commitments, to independently earn a living.
Objectives of the SEIRAS program:
- Placement of refugees and asylum seekers in formal work
- Creation of micro-projects
- Development of the ecosystem favourable to the economic integration of refugees and asylum seekers
Direct and indirect beneficiaries of the project:
- Refugees settled in Tunisia of working age who are looking for a job or interested in starting a business

Perspective
Key is the digitization of the labour market for refugees and asylum seekers eligible for regularly paid work and for the benefit of employment training contracts within companies. This process involves the creation of the FORAS platform which brings together employers and job market candidates. This platform reserved for refugees and asylum seekers and for Tunisian companies affiliated with TAMSS can be also extended to Tunisian job seekers and open to the national economic fabric.
FORAS is a digital platform created to enhance and support the micro-projects carried out by refugees under the SEIRAS program since 2019. The FORAS digital platform is dedicated by TAMSS to the development of the social and solidarity economy in Tunisia. This platform was designed by TAMSS and developed in partnership with UNHCR to cover Tunisia and expand to the MENA region. This major project will enable broader, more profitable, and more ambitious economic relations to be established between “refugee entrepreneurs” and national entrepreneurs in the Region.
